JAMES O’LOGHLIN
James O’Loghlin is an ABC television and radio presenter, a comedian and a speaker. James hosted ‘The New Inventors’ on ABC-TV for eight years and has been hosting programs on ABC Local Radio for the last 14 years. His role as host of ‘The New Inventors’ fueled James’s interest in innovation, a subject upon which he now regularly gives keynote speeches. In them he shares practical techniques we can all use every day to become more innovative, and discusses ways in which companies can create a culture that encourages innovation. James is a former criminal lawyer and is the author of seven books, including ‘Innovation is a State of Mind – Simple Strategies to be more Innovative in what you do,’ ‘How to Balance Your Life’ and ‘Umm…A Complete Guide to Public Speaking.’ Oh, and he also writes children’s novels.

ASHLEY FELL

Social researcher, TEDx speaker and Head of Communications at the internationally recognised McCrindle, Ashley Fell understands how to effectively communicate across diverse audiences. From her experience in managing media relations, social media platforms and content creation, Ashley advises on how to achieve cut through in message-saturated times. She is an expert in how to communicate across generational barriers. In addition to delivering keynote presentations at conferences, Ashley is booked to conduct training days for corporate and not-for-profit clients, facilitate panels across an array of industries and deliver workshops across diverse generations. From generational change to responding to technological disruption, from key demographic transformations to social shifts, Ashley delivers research-based presentations dealing with global and national trends.

SCOTT MILLAR

The tech-head prodigy behind BOP Industries and a young entrepreneur taking the world by storm, Scott Millar has been compared to a young Steve Jobs. After turning a year nine business project into a thriving business, he has deferred university to run and grow his now global technology and education company BOP Industries, and work with his team to inspire and empower the next generation of digital creators. On top of his work running a global business, at just 19 years of age, Scott has been named as one of Australia’s Top 30 under 30 in Business and Asia Pacific’s inspiring youth leader for 2019. He firmly believes that people can do amazing things at any age, from anywhere, and that being a good human is absolutely pivotal to success in the ever-changing world we live in today.

LISA SMITH

Minds at Work Founder and ‘Mindworker’ Lisa Smith is a professional thinker dedicated to helping people unlock their innate creativity and to empower them to think differently – for themselves. She is passionate about building innovative cultures and about harnessing and engaging talent to create thinking communities.

Lisa holds an MBA, specialising in organisational change and innovation, which forms the nucleus of her work. She relishes opportunities to share the Minds at Work thinking strategies with government bodies, socially responsible corporate, educators, community groups and farmers, helping them to turn their big ideas into realities. Lisa will review options to support communities – especially tiny towns – to regenerate themselves for their future viability.
