Momento Hospitality, a hotel operation that includes a charity organisation focusing on sport, education, rehabilitation and environmental challenges, was the only pub group to be named as one of Westpac’s Top 200 businesses in 2018.
Westpac’s Businesses of Tomorrow is a program designed to reward and recognise businesses with the drive to shape Australia’s future. Winners need to demonstrate a clear purpose and vision, and they need to deeply understand their customer’s needs and have the capability to meet tomorrows challenges.
Momento’s appeal lay in its service strategy known as ‘The Momento Way’ – a company-wide ethos around how all team members within the Momento group are expected to approach customer service. The strategy is driven by the Momento Mission, which is “Bringing people together to create great memories.”
As part of the Top 200, Momento Hospitality will have access to a wealth of knowledgeable mentors, including former Westpac CEO, Gail Kelly; Airtasker CEO and founder, Tim Fung; and Mecca CEO and founder, Jo Horgan.
The award follows on the back of the company’s sale of The Australian Hotel and Brewery to Redcape and opening The Governor in Macquarie Park in the past two weeks.
